Booking & Planning
We recommend booking at least 4–6 months in advance, especially for peak season (June–October) and for popular camps. Last-minute bookings are sometimes possible but availability is limited.
After receiving your inquiry, we'll send a personalised proposal. A 20% deposit secures your booking, with the balance due 60 days before departure.
Absolutely — every itinerary we offer can be adjusted to suit your dates, interests, group size, and budget. That's our specialty.
Visas & Travel Documents
Most nationalities require a Tanzania tourist visa. These can be obtained on arrival at major entry points or applied for online via the eVisa portal. We'll provide full guidance with your booking.
Yellow fever vaccination is required if arriving from a yellow fever endemic country. We strongly recommend consulting a travel health clinic for current advice on malaria prophylaxis, typhoid, and hepatitis A.
On Safari
Neutral-coloured clothing (khaki, olive, beige), layers for cool early mornings, sunscreen and insect repellent, binoculars, and a quality camera with a long lens. We send a detailed packing guide with every booking.
Tanzania has an excellent safety record for tourism. Our guides are experienced, our vehicles are well-maintained, and we provide 24/7 support throughout your trip.
Yes. We've guided thousands of solo female travelers safely across Tanzania. Our team includes female guides for those who prefer it, and our group departure safaris connect solo travelers with small international groups.
Cancellations & Insurance
Cancellations made more than 60 days before departure receive a full refund minus a 5% processing fee. Between 30–60 days, 50% of the total is retained. Within 30 days, the full amount is non-refundable. We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance.
