Tanzania, through local eyes
Marvelling Tours & Safaris was founded in Arusha by a team of guides who had spent years working for larger operators and wanted to do something different: offer the kind of deeply personal, locally-rooted safari experience that they themselves would want to take.
From the beginning, our philosophy has been simple. We believe that the best safari is one where every decision — which camp, which route, which timing — has been made specifically for you, by people who know Tanzania intimately, and who care about your experience as much as you do.
Fifteen years and over 4,900 guests later, that philosophy hasn't changed. What has changed is our depth of knowledge, the quality of our lodge partnerships, and our understanding of what truly extraordinary travel looks like for each type of traveler we serve.
